We're excited you're here and have a bunch of fun and informative events planned for your first weekend on campus!
On Friday, August 29, you finally move in, and you'll learn a lot about life at UVM during the discussion, It's up to us: Strategies for creating a healthy and safe UVM. Also, don't miss UVM: First Night! your chance to hang out and meet new friends on campus!
The weekend continues on Saturday, August 30 with information sessions, recreational and social opportunities, and discussion groups on academic life, cultural diversity, personal health and safety, study skills, using university resources, and understanding university policies and programs.
Monday, September 1 is a special day on UVM's campus. The academic year kicks off with Convocation. Following Convocation, the annual Twighlight Induction on the Main Green is a favorite UVM tradition. The night closes with the Davis Center Open House, with live music, free snacks, and an activity on every floor.
