"A Window on the World" 2008 International Photography Contest

Thank you for your interest in OIE’s 2008 International Photo Contest.  This event recognizes many of the international experiences that people in the UVM community have every day.  There are two categories for the contest: General & Student in Context.

The General category offers participants the opportunity to share a glimpse of the culture in which they were immersed.  Images in this category often tell a story and give the viewer a hint of life beyond their own lens.  Some examples include natural landscapes, cityscapes, and notable landmarks.  The Student in Context category showcases the photographer in the culture.  Sometimes these images are taken on a mountain or with a host family, but always featuring the photographer somehow in the context.  For winning examples of images from both categories, please click on the 2007 Entries link below.
