Paddy came to Vermont from his home in upstate New York in 2003 to study music at the University of Vermont and since then has played an active role in the Burlington music scene.

He has worked as the talent buyer, marketing coordinator, production manager, lighting operator and sound engineer for the Monkey House in Winooski and ArtsRiot in Burlington.

In 2011 he started the Waking Windows Music and Arts Festival in Winooski Vermont and promotes shows regularly at traditional and DIY venues around Burlington under the series name Waking Windows Presents. 

As well as promoting and producing events, Paddy writes music and performs under the band name Paper Castles. As a band they have toured the US and released 3 albums and an EP as well as opening for such acts as The Wallflowers, William Tyler, Stars, Steve Gun, Explosions in the Sky, Widowspeak, Vetiver, Lady Lamb, and Chris Cohen, among others.
