| Background Dr. Wallace received her Ph.D. in Biophysics from Cornell University and did postdoctoral work at Columbia in Microbiology. She has held faculty positions at CUNY and New York Medical College and joined the Vermont faculty in 1988 as Chairperson of the Department. |
