| Background Dr. Thali received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Zürich, Switzerland in 1990 under the direction of Dr.W. Schaffner. He did postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with Dr. J. Sodroski where he was also an Instructor in Pathology. From 1995-1999, Dr. Thali was an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He joined the faculty of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics in 1999. |
