| Background Dr. Morrical received his B.S. degree in Biochemistry from Wichita State University (1982). He received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1987), where he did research on the enzymology of homologous genetic recombination with Dr. Michael Cox. His postdoctoral training in the areas of DNA replication, recombination, and repair was conducted in Dr. Bruce Alberts' laboratory at the University of California-San Francisco. He joined the UVM Biochemistry faculty in 1992. |
