| Background Chris received his M.D. degree in 1994 from Cornell University Medical College. He then served as an intern, resident, and chief resident in internal medicine at the University of Vermont. From 1998 to 2000, he was a fellow in infectious diseases at the University of Virginia, after which he received a Howard Hughes Postdoctoral Fellowship to continue his training. He joined UVM’s infectious diseases faculty in 2003. |
