DESCRIPTION:Clarinetist Romie de Guise-Langlois will be the featured soloist with the Burlington Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Guest Conductor Sean Newhouse — a Vermont native and the Assistant Conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The program will feature Gerald Finzi’s Clarinet Concerto, Corelli’s Concerto Grosso in F Major, and Janaçek’s Idyll for String Orchestra. First brought here by Soovin Kim to play with his Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival, Ms. de Guise-Langlois has become an area favorite for her fierce and formidable style.
