Installation of 26th President - E. Thomas Sullivan

Installation Details for the Sullivans' Family and Friends

Tom and Leslie are delighted that you are attending the Installation Ceremony for E. Thomas Sullivan, the 26th President of the University of Vermont and State Agricultural College, on Friday, October 5, 2012.  The Installation Ceremony begins at 1:30 p.m. in Ira Allen Chapel preceded by the academic procession that begins at 1:00 p.m.  We ask that those not participating in the academic procession be seated in Ira Allen Chapel by 1:00 p.m.  We anticipate nearly a thousand people will attend the Installation Ceremony.  In addition, this weekend is Alumni Reunion, Homecoming, and Family Weekend.  It will surely be memorable.

On Wednesday, October 3, 2012, as part of the Installation of President Sullivan, the University is sponsoring a Student Scholars Poster Competition.  The event will take place from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. in the Grand Maple Ballroom located in the Dudley H. Davis Center.  The winners of the competition will be announced at 3:15 p.m.  Additional information is available on the installation website:  www.uvm.edu/installation
