ENVS 295 Energy Use in US Food Systems

The course will focus on using the tools of input-output analysis and life-cycle energy assessment to investigate energy use in different sectors of the US food system as well as smaller-scale food supply chains. Particular elements of the food system studied in this course include agriculture, processing and packaging, transportation, wholesale and retail establishments, etc. Cross-listed with CDAE 295 Z3.
