Panel I: Contributions of International Perspectives to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education

Internationalization in higher education is a multi-faceted and much debated aspect of the college campus. It has been viewed as the process of integrating an international and intercultural perspective into the teaching, research and service functions of the institution. Internationalization means more than the presence of international students and staff on campus. It means the acquisition by all members of a global outlook as well. The purpose of this interactive panel is to raise awareness about internationalization and to build understanding about the contributions it makes to teaching and learning in higher education.
