Office Assistant

Job Description:

As an office assistant, you will gain vital office experience that can be applied to innumerable workplace environments as you support a busy, dynamic team of professionals. You will learn some of the basic fundamentals of event planning in order to professionally answer phone calls and monitor incoming emails from clients. Acquire valuable knowledge in how to draft event contracts and invoices and gain experience in data and information management systems while updating client databases. You will also learn how to use our state-of-the-art scheduling and space diagramming software. Office assistants must be highly organized and detail oriented, able to present themselves in a professional manner and enjoy working with customers. Ideal candidates are also tech savvy and familiar with the UVM campus/Burlington area. There is plenty of room for growth in this position!

The ability to work 10-20 hours per week is ideal in order to gain the most from this position. Shifts are scheduled between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
