UVM Integrative Practitioner Forum: From Opioids to Managing Chronic Pain - What is CBD?

The non-intoxicating compound found in the hemp plant has been shown to provide a host of therapeutic benefits. Chronic pain relief in adults - from cannabinoids - has been cited by the 2017 study of the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine after rigorous review of scientific research. Free Hearing Screenings

Communication Sciences and Disorders students will conduct supervised hearing screenings on Friday, Nov. 10 from 1:30-4 p.m. in the Eleanor M. Luse Center located in Pomeroy Hall. The screenings are free and available to adults 18 years of age and older. Appointments required. Learn more >>

Wellness Starts Here! Core Strength Class in Rowell

On Mondays and Wednesdays at noon, join your co-workers in Rowell 032 for a Core Strength and Flexibility session using stability balls, resistance tubing and weights. Instructor Janet Franz is a CNHS communications specialist and certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer. The class helps relieve back stiffness, improves mobility and increases functional strength. Participants do not need to wear shoes, but please bring a mat or large towel for floor work.
