Undergraduate Program Director, Lecturer, and Clinical Educator

Julia Walberg is a nationally certified and Vermont licensed speech-language pathologist. Throughout her career as an SLP she has evaluated and treated children and adults with a variety of communication disorders. She began her career working with the deaf and hard-of-hearing population at Gallaudet University. From there she has worked in schools, private practice and an outpatient rehabilitation center. In addition to teaching foundational courses and advising students, Ms. Walberg supervises graduate clinicians at the Eleanor M. Luse Center on campus.

She loves her new role as the faculty advisor for the Vermont chapter of the National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association. When not on campus, Ms. Walberg enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, absorbing the beauty of Vermont and participating in the aphasia choir.
