Communication Sciences and Disorders students raise funds to attend ASHA convention

Graduate and undergraduate students in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program are raising funds through microphilanthropy to support a trip to the 2013 Convention of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association in Chicago, where UVM's own Dean Patricia Prelock will preside as president.

Students attending the conference will learn state of the art information regarding children and adults with communication disorders such as autism, stuttering, traumatic brain injury, stroke, language impairment, and hearing impairment, which they will share upon their return.
