Maggie Kabbeko is an educator and librarian with a diverse and extensive background in the field of education. She developed a strong appreciation for differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices that center compassion, curiosity, and play through a range of teaching experiences.

Embracing and promoting an intrinsic love of learning has been a driving force in Maggie’s life. This led her to teach multiple grade levels and subjects, including first grade, prekindergarten, high school theater, literature, and dance. Her drive to accumulate diverse experiences brought her to teach in a number of states across the nation.

With a commitment to educational equity keeps her firmly grounded in the realm of public education, Maggie's academic journey helped her to gain a deep understanding of various educational perspectives and teaching methodologies.

Maggie’s work in library science has focused on promoting information literacy in public and school libraries. She served as both a public and school librarian. Academically, she is driven by curiosity. She has a penchant for the study of monsters in children’s literature, literacy as an act of social justice, the act of restorying literature for youth, social geographies in classroom settings, and the exploration of neuroscience in the classroom.
