I wish to extend my congratulations to you upon your selection for special recognition at the College of Arts and Sciences Honors Ceremony at the University of Vermont.

The presentation of awards is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012, in the Ira Allen Chapel.  Please plan to arrive by 2:45 p.m. and sit in the front center section of white folding chairs to facilitate your participation in the ceremony.  Family members should sit in the pews.  I ask that all students receiving recognition be dressed appropriately (e.g., no jeans, flip flops, baseball caps) as photos of the award winners and faculty presenter will be taken.  A brief keynote address will be delivered by Professor of Biology Jim O. Vigoreaux.

After the Honors Ceremony, a reception for students, family members, guests, and faculty will be held immediately following the Honors Ceremony in Billings.
