Students on the Move
Jason Fish, '13
As a first year student, Jason Fish became the President of the UVM Entrepreneurship Club. It's a title he still holds today as the Club prepares to hold the 1st Annual Business Pitch Competition. Jason is also a member of the Student Advisory Committee, on the Dining Services Advisory Committe, a Sodexo Student Ambassador and the UVM Economics Honor Society. Jason spent last summer working as a Sodexho Corporate Brand Management Intern. He is concentrating in Entrepreneurship and Finance.
Anna Elaine Bassford, '13
"My favorite thing about the School of Business is how willing the professors and advisors are to talk to students, there are infinite resources to be found in those who have years of real world experience," said Anna Elaine Bassford, a sophomore Business Student concentrating in Human Resources. Anna works at the University of Vermont Human Resource Department and also teaches dance at the Vermont Ballet Theater in Shelburne, Vermont. She is planning to study abroad next spring in Vienna, Austria.
Nicholas Monteforte, '13
As a member of the Student Advisory Committee, the AMA Marketing Club and a teaching assistant in BSAD 096, Nicholas Monteforte wears many different hats in the Business School. "The UVM School of Business Administration offers a unique experience in a beautiful environment," he said. "Small class sizes let you truly interact with awesome professors." Nick is also the Chair of the Public Relations Committee for the Student Government Association, the Chair of the University Program Board and works as an Office Assistant in Student Services.
David Ramada, '13
“I have been pushed to think outside the box,” said David Ramada. The Essex, Vermont native is a sophomore Business Administration major concentrating in Finance and Accounting. David says since his first day on campus, the faculty have been “supporting my academic interests and opening my eyes to the world.” David is also the goal keeper on the UVM Men’s Soccer Team.
Rachel Burt, '14
Rachel Burt is currently working as a Teaching Assistant in Professor Parke's Careers in Business (BSAD 095) Class. She is a concentrating in Marketing and minoring in Applied Design. She is scheduled to graduate in May 2014.
