Cairn Cross received his American Banker’s Association degree from Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. He is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of FreshTracks Capital. He raised an $11MM limited partnership venture capital fund in 2000-2001 and another $14MM limited partnership venture capital fund in 2007-2008. Mr. Cross manages all administrative aspects and day-to-day functions of the partnerships, including stakeholder reporting and coordination of professional services provided to the partnerships. He devised best in class Topic 810 compliant valuation policy and serves as tax matters partner for both limited partnerships and the general partner entities for each partnership as well as the fund management company. He has led or co-led investments in 22 portfolio companies and recruited additional new Managing Directors in 2005 in preparation for raising FreshTracks II. He has served on the boards of many Vermont businesses as well as several nonprofit and governmental boards.
