Claudio Müller 2013 Co-host
Claudio G. Müller is a Professor at the School of Economics and Business at the University of Chile, the main institution of higher education in Chile. He has been a pioneer in teaching the subject in Chile. At several universities he teaches undergraduate programs in family business governance and business strategy.
Previously he has been the founder of the Family-Owned Business Chair at the Universidad del Desarrollo. Claudio earned a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering at Federico Santa María Technical University and holds an MBA at Loyola University in Maryland. Broadly, his research focuses on understanding the role that family influence plays on firm behavior especially innovation and entrepreneurship, governance mechanisms, and performance. He worked on his final doctoral dissertation about Innovation in Family Firms (Ph.D program in Management Sciences at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain) and is developing a new Family Business Center at his current university affiliation.
