By now you have noticed that the picture attached to this part of our eNewsletter is significantly different from those in past issues – allow me to explain the change and introduce myself. On January 25th, Eleanor M. Miller stepped down from her position as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and I began my appointment as Interim Dean the following day. Read more.

Eleanor Miller Resigns as Dean
In a letter sent to CAS faculty and staff on December 21, 2010, Dean Eleanor Miller announced: "I write to inform you, the faculty and staff of the College of Arts and Sciences, of my recent decision to resign my position as Dean of UVM’s College of Arts and Sciences. I tendered my resignation last Friday and President Fogel has accepted it." Read more.

Renderings of Billings Renovation Project
Plans for relocating Special Collections, the Center for Research on Vermont, and the Carolyn and Leonard Miller Center for Holocaust Studies into a renovated Billings Library are moving forward. Read more.
