On July 8, 2007 several of the descendants of the 10th Cavalry Soldiers who remained in Vermont after discharge or retirement met in Burlington, VT. Among those who attended are desdendants as listed below and Dr. Frank "Mickey" Schubert, author of "On The Trail of the Buffalo Soldier" and other books on the 9th and 10th cavalry, and Dr. Gordon Olson, historian.

Dr. Bill Fagan, retired urologist, also joined us. He was George Osborne's doctor. Nancy Hayes and Doug Slaybaugh gave a tour of Fort Ethan Allen and attended the reunion. A special thank you to Nancy and Doug.

We shared stories, photos, and documents. It was a truly wonderful experience and I hope we can do it again.
