Greenland, May 2006.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Geology Department here at UVM.  I came to Vermont from Seattle, where I did my graduate work in the Glaciology group in the Geophysics Program (now the Department of Earth and Space Sciences) at the University of Washington.

I am interested in just about anything having to do with snow and ice science; my research focuses on ice flow and polar snow chemistry.
