A
Note from President Tom Sullivan
I
am sure you can all agree we’ve waited a very long time
to welcome spring this year. At the promise of these
first days of sun-warmed temperatures and unfurling
buds, it’s a joy to see the Green come alive with
students and colleagues across our UVM community
celebrating their release from a long winter’s
hibernation. And just in time for finals and
commencement!
Our grounds crew is working hard across campus
making our public spaces ready for the big influx of May
commencement celebrants in just a few short weeks. With
every commencement, within the ranks of undergraduates
and graduate students we have UVM staff and family
members of staff who are also receiving degrees and
celebrating impressive academic accomplishments.
This May, as we recognize the hard work and
achievement of all of our graduates, I want to especially
acknowledge and congratulate our wonderful, dedicated
staff members across the University who are receiving
degrees, and extend my congratulations to the graduating
children and other family members of staff. Continue
