Test Out or Credit by Examination for CALS 002/85.

by Dr. Jonathan Leonard, CALS 002/85 Instructor, January 2007

Currently, the examination is a 50-question multiple choice exam that draws questions from the current material taught in CALS 002/085.

A student wishing to get credit by exam for CALS 002/85 must take the above exam and earn a 60% or higher to pass the test.  The student may take exam only once.  If the student earns below 60%, they will have failed to test out.  If the student earns 60% or higher they pass the test.  If a student passes the test they may either go to the Registrar and pay for "Credit by Exam" to get credit for CALS 002/85, or they may, with their academic advisor's consent, waive the CALS Core Competency Requirement of an introductory Information Technology course.

Students interested in taking the test should contact Dr. Leonard at their earliest convenience.
