Commentaries on Latin Letters
UVM Student Commentaries
These commentaries provide rather complete comments on grammar and
full vocabulary lists (unless otherwise noted). Translation is
eschewed in favor of describing the grammar of difficult passages (more).
Most of these commentaries started out as assignments in Latin
classes at the University of Vermont. Prof. Jacques Bailly revised
the students' versions. He takes full responsibility for (and
would like to hear about) the mistakes that remain (contact him at
jbailly@zoo.uvm.edu). If you want to submit your own commentaries
on letters, please contact Dr. Bailly about the process.
