This picture shows a group of men trying to remove a truck that is stuck in the snow; in the background is 266 Main Street.  This picture is not dated but based on the pervious picture of the High School and the type of truck it was probably taken in the 1920s.  During that time Benjamin White lived in the building and ran a real estate office out of his home.[1]  Between the years of 1931 and 1949 there are several physicians practicing at this address, it is impossible to know whether the building was turned into offices or whether a new building was built.[2]  In 1950 the New England Telephone Company Building was constructed on this lot.[3]

The New England Telephone Company Building still stands today, and is now owned by Verzion.  It is not a retail store, and probably functions in a similar fashion as it did in the fifties.
