INCIDENTS OF HATE AT UVM

November 1998

The purpose of forwarding announcements of bias incidents is to inform the entire UVM that we have not solved the problem of bias behavior on campus. It is our hope that by raising awareness, faculty and staff will take an active role in educating students and each other about the hurtful effects of such behavior in our community. I hope members of the UVM community will take whatever opportunities they have to discuss these matters, express high standards of behavior and help improve the campus climate. Thank you.

Annie Allen,
Executive Officer for Cultural Pluralism, Office of the Provost.
