How do I move from screen to screen in FRS?

You can move from screen to screen by typing the screen number, in the screen field and hitting enter.   You do not have to go to the menu screens first, if you know what screen you want.

If you want to go to a screen with a zero in front of it (examples 021 or 001);  you just need to type in the last digits, the preceding zeroes can be dropped in the screen field.

So, for screen 001 you may type a 1 in the screen field, and for screen 021 you may type a 21 in the screen field.

You may go to the menu screens to check out what they offer, and look at the different screens.

Whenever you are in a screen and want to scroll forward, continue to hit the enter key.

Are there some helpful hints for navigating the cursor within a screen?

Wherever you are in the screen;  hitting the --- home key--- will bring the cursor back to the screen field.

You can use ---the tab key--- to move the cursor from field to field.

There are some security based screens where the tab will not take you from field to field, the majority of them will, but if you are on a screen that doesn't, the up and down arrows will work well.

Hold down the Ctrl key, and Type E --- this will delete all of the information at the cursor and to the right side of it.
