A Few Interesting Passage in the Bible..
WWJD? A trendy motto often used by born-again teenage christians shopping Wal-Mart; an unsuprisingly simple strategy for creating Jesus freaks out of susceptible kids. The phrase has been over-marketed and recieved blatant product placement by companies that support America's corporate religion, Christianity.
This page was inspired by my own observations of Dr. J (Jesus Christ). I have always felt that the stories were of a social activist who was killed by the ruling government because of his leftist radical views (not because they were morally conservative). The Jesus character in the gospel was a humble, radical, egalitarian, vegitarian, feminist-socialist. Try reading the damned book.
So lets see what Jesus H. said and see if he:
5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they
love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be
seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in
full.
6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to
your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in
secret, will reward you.
7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they
think they will be heard because of their many words.
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before
you ask
him.
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it
is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye
of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and
asked, "Who then can be saved?"
15 Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
27 "The owner's servants came to him and said, `Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?'

22 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd.
23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone,
24 but the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
25 During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.
26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear.
Note:
21 Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.
32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed
that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they
had.
33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the
resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.
34 There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time
those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the
sales
35 and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to
anyone as he had need.
42 Jesus called them together and said, "You know that those who
are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high
officials exercise authority over them.
43 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among
you must be your servant,
44 and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.
45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve,
and to give his life as a ransom for many."

46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.
52 "Put up again thy sword into his place; for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword."
Interestingly, there is not one mention of homosexuality in the gospel. You'd think that was all the gospel is about, considering how some Christians emphasize gay and lesbian issues. There isn't a mention of whether Jesus was straight or not. An argument against homosexuality for Christians is that the purpose of life is to reproduce, even though jesus didn't have kids.
