Well a few months went by, maybe almost a year. Then one day I had a message from my mother telling me to come over and get an old guitar my father picked up for $5.00. It would be a toy for my daughter. Well that old guitar was a 1943 Martin 000-28. This is no joke. I won't tell you the value, but this is an rare guitar. Around 100 were made in 1943. Eric Clapton plays one. Well my kids will get it in my will.
Another not so impressive event happened yesterday. I was painting my parents 2 story home and I had decided I would get a long extension to role the paint from the ground instead of climbing a ladder. Well, someone threw one on my parents front lawn. Don't know who owned it or how it got there. But I will use it.
Regards, Don
