After Hours Student Health Care
Student Health Services offers after-hours support. If you need assistance outside of regular hours, please call 802-656-3350 and follow the phone prompts to speak with an after-hours nurse. This service is covered by the UVM health fee and can be accessed after hours, weekends, and during holidays.
For urgent medical needs that require in-person care, the following local urgent care centers are available (please note that these services are not covered by the UVM health fee):

After Hours Mental Health Care for Non-Emergencies
- Call (802) 656-3340 and choose voicemail option #2 to reach an on-call counselor outside of normal business hours.

- If you are a faculty member, staff member, or parent that has an emergency concern for a student after-hours, please call UVM Police Services at (802) 656-3473 and ask to talk to the CARE Team member on-call.

Accreditation
The Center for Health and Wellbeing is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
AAAHC defines high national standards for patient and client care, facilities, methodology and value. The accreditation process includes rigorous peer reviews and site visits.
