Find the amino acid sequence for the protein involved with the phenotype, condition or disease you have chosen. Display the sequence in FASTA format, copy and paste it into the BLAST query window. 

Find out as much as you can about the conserved domains: 

• their structure.
• their function.
• their inclusion in the architecture of related proteins.
• their evolutionary relationships.

• their structure, and visualizations of them in Cn3D.
• their biology and function from the "Gene" database.

There is no minimum or maximum amount of information to find - in the real world, the only criterion of quality is to do as much as necessary to do the job right.

Examine and compile all relevant information. 

Print  all information which you think may be useful for your Poster, and save it for later use.
