UVM Professor Wins Grant to Study Smart Grids

The Washington Examiner reports that Paul Hines, professor in the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, won a national grant for his research proposal to study “harnessing smart grid data to enable resilient and efficient electricity.” According to the Examiner, Hines believes the National Science Foundation Career Award of $400,000 allows him a “unique opportunity to conduct research.” Read the story...
