The Boston Globe's Green Blog writes about a study co-authored by Austin Troy, associate professor in the Rubenstein School, finding a very strong association between neighborhoods with more trees and lower crime rates. The study was also written about extensively in Yale University's Environment, which includes an alumni profile of Troy, who earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Yale.
