Rutland County Dairy Quiz Bowl

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Location: Mettowee School in West Pawlet

4-H Lambing and Lamb Care Clinic

Time: 9:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Description: Any 4-H member 8 to 18 may participate in this workshop at Shelburne Farms. Pre-registration is required by calling Wendy at the number below or by emailing her at wendy.sorrell@uvm.edu. Bring warm clothes that can get dirty, washable boots and a desire to learn. All youths must be accompanied by an adult (leaders may assume responsibility for members). Whole Farm Planning for Beginning Women Farmers

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location: Berlin Extension Office
Description: Beginning women farmers (those with 2-10 years running a farming business) in Vermont can learn more about whole farm planning in a program developed specifically for women.

Application Deadline: Nov. 13, 2014
Fees: $150-$500

Scholarship and Financial Aid information: Financial aid is available for eligible individuals. At the end of the registration form, you can make a request for financial aid.
