Food Systems Internship Program

UVM Extension's Food Systems Intern Program will help you clarify your career interests and gain critical skills and contacts as an intern in a great variety of food system related businesses and organizations. Consider interning on a small permaculture farm, researching hops production in a changing climate, helping organizations like the Vermont Community Garden Network, NOFA VT, the Rich Earth Institute, the VT Foodbank, or a water quality division in state government meet goals essential to developing robust food systems across Vermont. Clarify and further your career goals as you engage in the work that is making Vermont a national leader in regional food hubs, direct retail farm marketing, food justice and sustainable agriculture.
