Directions to the UVM Transportation Research Center

The UVM Transportation Research Center is located on the Trinity Campus of UVM at 210 Colchester Avenue, Burlington, Vermont. Our building (Farrell Hall - on the campus map) is orange brick and has a sloped roof with skylight.

By Bus

• CATS Shuttle - This free campus shuttle runs every 10 minutes. To get to the TRC on Trinity Campus, take the shuttle to the Mercy Hall stop, then walk up the hill to Farrell Hall, an orange brick building with a sloped roof with skylight. • CCTA Bus - Take the bus up Colchester Avenue and get off at the Trinity Campus stop. Walk up Colchester Avenue to Farrell Hall -- the orange brick building with a sloped roof with skylight. By Foot

From main campus, you can cross to the north/west side of Colchester Avenue at traffic signals at East Avenue, Mansfield Avenue or Mary Fletcher Drive.

By Bicycle

Use the bicycle route on Colchester Avenue or the bicycle lanes on East Avenue. There is a path that leads into our parking lot through the back of the Ira Allen School at the end of Fletcher Place.

By Auto

From I-89 take Exit 14W toward UVM/downtown Burlington and merge immediately into the right lane. Turn right one exit past the Sheraton Hotel onto East Avenue. Drive down East Avenue to the light at the corner of Colchester Avenue and East Avenue (where India House is), continue straight into the Trinity Campus parking area, and drive toward the orange brick (Farrell Hall). There is metered visitor parking in the side parking lot next to our building as well as across from us near the front entrance.
