This course covers three main areas: mindfulness research and practices; happiness research and practices; and personal self-development via the two core areas. Students will participate in readings, discussions, podcasts, experiential practices, projects, and a variety of reflections and projects.
The expectations are excellent participation in learning activities (approximately 3 hours a day in this 4 week course), completion of all reading and writing assignments and projects, and willingness to reflect deeply in your own learning. Graduate Students will have additional work to complete including a higher level of participation and leadership within the course.
Students will be evaluated on attendance, daily practice, write ups and reflections on skills practices, final project, and Graduate Students will also complete additional or more depth assignments.
