Students will be introduced to the basic ideas and algebraic structures of interest theory, time-value of money, annuities, loans, bonds, cash-flows and portfolios. Prerequisites: MATH 020, MATH 022 or MATH 023.

This course will be run completely online, and I will structure it as a 'work at your own pace'. I will have a 'suggested schedule' for you to follow, but you can choose to deviate, within reason.
I will have video lectures along with notes and other supplements to accompany each Module Section that we cover. There will also be opportunities to meet with me one-on-one or in groups via Microsoft TEAMS. Students can expect to put in about 4 hours per section covered and we will cover about 20 sections. There is no required textbook for this class.
Assignments - 30% Test 1 - 35% Test 2 - 35% All assignments and tests will be open format (i.e. allow you to use aids such as textbook, notes, calculators, Mathematica, Matlab, etc.). The only rule is no collaboration with other humans on Test 1 or Test 2.
