AS 095 - Introduction to Spreadsheets with Microsoft Excel This course will provide an overview of fundamental spreadsheet concepts using Microsoft Excel. Together we will explore how to write formulas to perform calculations, aggregate data in pivot tables, create different types of charts, and format data for presentation in reports. Although designed for the beginner, with little or no Excel experience, intermediate users, or those who have been self-taught, may benefit from the sharing of best practices in spreadsheet design, keyboard shortcuts and other tips. We will be using Excel 2019 for this course, but students should find only minimal differences if using Excel 2016 or Office 365.
