Newtonian dynamics (kinematics and kinetics) of particles, systems of particles, and rigid bodies including impulse-momentum and energy concepts.

By the end of the semester: 1. Understand fundamental principles and laws of dynamics (kinematics and kinetics) in two and three dimensions 2. Understand concepts of motion for particles, systems of particles, and rigid bodies 3. Apply this knowledge to various mechanical systems
