Section Description

This course is designed to provide counseling interns with an opportunity to refine and expand their counseling skills by working with clients in a field setting and receiving individual and group supervision. Specific requirements regarding direct service hours in internship and other internship-related policies and procedures are outlined in the Counseling Program Internship Handbook. The internship seminar is designed to meet the CACREP requirement of regularly providing an average of 1 ½ hr/wk of group supervision to internship students.

Section Expectation

This course is open to Graduate Counseling students in their third semester of an approved internship site.
