Train with teaching artists of The Vermont Shakespeare Festival, a professional theater that works in collaboration with the Department of Theatre at UVM. This course utilizes Shakespeare’s MACBETH as a framework for full-bodied actor training including Technique, Movement, Voice and Speech, and Intro to Theatre Production/Design. The on-campus portion of the course culminates with the performance of a short devised theatre piece inspired by MACBETH and created collaboratively during the training. The online portion of the course offers the students the opportunity to research and create a design proposal for their own production of MACBETH.
