The comprehensive fee supports facilities and services available to students including the Library, Athletic Center, Student Health Center, Dudley H. Davis Student Center and transportation/shuttle bus services.

  • Part-time comprehensive fee based on the number of credits enrolled per-semester.
  • Undergraduates enrolled in 4 to 11.5 credits are assessed a Student Government fee which is estimated $87 per semester.
  • All students enrolled in 9 to 11.5 credits and any student purchasing UVM health insurance are assessed the Student Health Center fee, which is estimated to be $323 per semester.

Additional fees

  • Health Insurance is mandatory for undergraduate students enrolled in 9 credit hours or more. Each year students must either elect to purchase the UVM insurance, or waive the UVM insurance by providing information about your current, non-UVM, insurance policy. Students must make this decision each year. Students enrolled in at least 6 credits may purchase this insurance. The estimated annual premium for 2015-2016 is not yet available. More details are available at the Center for Health & Wellbeing website.
  • Please visit the Residential Life website for details about room rates, meal plan rates and the $15 inter-residence association fee.
  • Undergraduate students enrolled in 4-11.5 credits are assessed an estimated $87 Student Government Association Fee.
  • For students enrolled in 12 or more credits, the Student Health Center fee is included in the comprehensive fee.
  • In addition to tuition, fees, and room and board, students should anticipate expenses for books, travel, and miscellaneous expenses.
