Thanks for visiting. Sorry this place is such a mess but as you see below, I have high hopes for it. Come back soon and be sure to let me know what you like or don't like. Thanks - Susan

Create a Quilt

Create
a
Quilt

Finger-painting for adults. Find a blank, empty quilt block you like, check out the patterns available and pour them into the skeleton to create your own quilt in your favorite graphics program.

Instructions on accomplishing this will be using MicroFrontier's art software (see below) initially but will hopefully expand to include other popular art programs.

&
Tribulations

Eventually there will be hundreds of patterns & tiles to choose from - all hand created plus descriptions of how some of the patterns were created (why doesn't anyone do this! I love to hear how artwork was created).

Most of these tiles are 128x128 pixels and are intended to be used as Desktop Patterns but could also be used as web page backgrounds. However, keep in mind that most of them are not ideally suited for displaying type.

The future may see web items (buttons, more legible backgrounds, etc.) available for various patterns. Check back often and let me know what you like or don't like.

A "novel" idea - real bookmarks to mark real books.

Look here for original bookmarks designed to be saved and printed in your favorite art program or (hopefully) to be printed right from the web page.

Watch for some of my favorite quotes combined with some of my own original patterns gracing your bookmarks.

*special thanks for my co-worker Steve Ross for inspiring this page.

It starts when you hear his name every morning on the radio. "John scored two goals last night" you hear. The local boy who's making good. So you start following the boxscore, watching the games and before your know it you're a Philadelphia Flyers fan. Come enjoy one fan's take on the coolest game on earth.

Two special hockey players graduated from the University of Vermont in 1997. The French Connection is planned as an update on where and what Martin St. Louis & Eric Perrin are doing currently. Watch for it soon.

For My Daughters - VR.5

VR.5

The diary reads: "For my daughters - Joseph Bloom."

A lone telephone worker sits under the stars listening in on the conversations going on around her - hoping to make a connection somehow, somewhere. The connection she makes eventually leads her to uncover family secrets and discover a whole new world.

Hopefully original photo-collages will be the main product of this site. In the meantime, follow the links to begin your VR.5 experience.

Yet another genealogy page ... but don't expect tons of links and little content. All the information I gathered and input into my PAF file is expected to be up and available soon.

Main surnames included will be:

GRAVES
DEMAS
KIMBALL
