Your UVM career kicks off on Thursday, January 9th when you move into your res hall. Unpack, meet other new students, and get to know your RA who'll guide you through all the activities awaiting you throughout the weekend.

Mark your calendar for Thursday, January 9th. Need help? Volunteers will be on hand to assist - between 11-1PM. Can't make it then? You’ll be able to move-in on your own any time between 8:30AM – 4PM.
Heads up: Residential Life will send you your room assignment on Friday, January 3rd – so be sure to keep an eye on your UVM E-mail.

WELCOME TO WELLNESS ENVIRONMENT (Mandatory for WE residents)
Where: Mildred Livak (Davis Center, 4th Floor)
When: 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Join your fellow Wellness Environment residents for a Welcome to WE presentation and the signing of the WE Code. Required for all spring start students living in the Wellness Environment.

Meet other new residents and participate in community circles while learning about restorative practices - the framework Residential Life uses to build community in the halls. This a great way to meet the residential life learning community staff and hear about events and activities happening in your community as you start the semester.
Community Dinner with RAs (Mandatory)
Where: Harris/Millis Dining
When: 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Have dinner with your Resident Advisor and meet other students from your new community.

How Sweet It Is To Be A UVM Student
Where:Living/Learning Commons Fireplace Lounge

Join the Inter-Residence Association (IRA) as you meet new members of the community, enjoying Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and hot chocolate! Also, learn more about getting involved in your residential community!
