Netscape 3.0 Gold includes an editor and publisher which is at least as useful as a word processor and quite a bit better in supporing the interactive hooks. But, there is no spelling checker! Later this spring, Netscape 4.0, aka, the Communicator, will be out with more advanced tools.
ClarisWorks 4.0 allows word processing documents to be "saved as" HTML files.
Microsoft offers two "plug in" assistants for Microsoft Word 6.0 for windows and Word for Macintosh.
WordPerfect 3.5 for the Macintosh, and 6.? for Windows allows files to be saved as HTML files.
Claris Homepage is a compact, easy to use, and very nicely designed package. It produces very clean HTML as well as "object oriented" manipulation of page elements. A 30 day trial version is currently available.
Sausage is the manufacturer of the HotDog HTML editing tool (for Windows). A 30-day free trial version is available off the web.
