Overview

Personal Response Units, also known as "Clickers", are small handheld Infrared (IR) or radio frequency (RF) devices, similar to a TV remote control, that send data back to a receiver. In a classroom setting, they can be used to take attendance, give quizzes, provide interaction, etc.

The images above show a typical RF unit system - the clicker is on the left, and the USB receiver is on the right. A receiver can support up to 1,000 clickers.
