Exam 1 Re-writes (Due Tuesday 10/13 anytime) :
There is no better way to learn from your exam than to work through the questions that you had difficulty with by yourself. Without doing so, it is likely that you will repeat similar mistakes on the next exam or final.
Your final score on the exam will be a weighted average of your score in class and your exam re-writes, with weights of 70% and 30%, respectively.
-
Submit a corrected solution (at http://tinyurl.com/stat3210-work) for each part where you received less than 7 points (less than 4 for #1). Name the file 3210exam1rw.pdf
-
Write your corrections on a new page with your name at the top. List the problems in the order that they appear on the exam. Leave blank any problems where you got 7 or 8 points.
-
Write a COMPLETE solution, showing all your work, for each question that needs to be corrected. No credit will be given for an answer without showing your work.
For question #1, your answers must appear as complete sentences.
-
Do NOT re-submit your original exam paper with the corrections.
-
Copy the academic honesty pledge from your exam and sign it if it applies. The exam corrections are to be done individually, with your notes and textbook. You may not work with your classmates or anyone else (other than me) on the corrections.
-
Failure to follow the directions above will result in little or no credit for the re-writes.
